She highlighted the potential urbanization of essential habitats, emphasizing that the caravans would disrupt vital green corridors connecting ecologically significant areas.
Reflecting on the significance of the site, Ms Theodorou noted, 'You can see into this plot of land, it does affect the visual amenity, the wildlife, so once that's built on it means there's no continuity in the Green Belt.' This underscores her belief that the development would sever wildlife movement and degrade the natural landscape.
