A large part of the South Terminal has been evacuated as a precaution while we continue to investigate a security incident. Passengers will not be able to enter the South Terminal while this is ongoing.
We don't know their plans yet. If flights are delayed or cancelled but something really serious is happening right now at Gatwick Airport.
The Gatwick Express also provided an update to customers. It posted on X: Gatwick Airport will not be served until further notice.
