From whales to deadly sharks- all the animals spotted in the River Thames

The River Thames has seen not only typical fish but also unexpected creatures like whales and deadly sharks over the years. Various animals including dolphins, porpoises, otters, and different fish species have been recorded in the Thames.
In 2006, London witnessed a Northern Bottlenose Whale in the Thames near Battersea, which unfortunately died despite rescue efforts. The Thames has hosted at least five shark species, mainly Tope and Starry Smoothhound sharks.
