Five people sustained injuries after a driver deliberately ploughed into them outside The Tunnel Club in Birmingham, highlighting the severity of the incident.
West Midlands Police are treating the incident as a targeted attack and have increased patrols for reassurance after five people were injured during Freshers' Week.
According to a police spokesperson, the attack occurred shortly after 3am on Friday, after reports of a disorder involving a group, leading to a man’s arrest.
Police have urged witnesses or anyone with photos or video of the incident to come forward as they continue to search for the driver and vehicle.
