Tech billionaire Mike Lynch has been confirmed among the dead in a tragic sinking of a superyacht during a violent storm, with his daughter still missing.
A friend of Mike Lynch expressed deep sadness, saying, 'It's just so unbelievably tragic for him to go through what he went through over the last 12 years, defending his name and not really living a full life.'
The Italian coastguard reported that five bodies have been recovered from the sunken yacht, which capsized due to a water tornado on Monday.
Authorities confirmed that the yacht capsized and sank 50 meters to the seabed after being caught in a violent storm on Monday.
