Paddington station, the second-busiest in the UK, saw a whopping 59.2 million passengers from April 2022 to March 2023, showcasing its critical transport role.
The revamped ticket hall at Paddington now features 11 gates and two lifts, significantly improving accessibility and easing congestion, particularly for Bakerloo line passengers.
Funded by Great Western Developments, the new ticket hall was built at no cost to Transport for London, yet it aligns with TfL's efforts to enhance accessibility.
As part of the Paddington Square redevelopment, the new ticket hall will be accompanied by a shopping and dining center, enhancing the overall passenger experience.
