First look: inside Kentish Town tube station after its 18-month glow-up
Briefly

Kentish Town’s tube station is set to reopen on Monday, December 23, after a lengthy closure for essential escalator repairs and other maintenance work.
The reopening has faced delays due to unexpected issues in the entrance hall, prompting additional repairs and improvements beyond initial plans.
TfL has undertaken extensive work, including realigning ticket gates and repainting platforms, and has removed the old ticket office to create more space.
While the Northern line stop will reopen, some building work will continue, with barriers still up until next year due to new ticket machines being installed.
