A man was rushed to hospital after a blaze broke out in an Archway retirement home. A woman was assessed for smoke inhalation. Half of a flat on the first floor was damaged.
London Fire Brigade stated the fire was accidental, likely caused by an electrical fault in a cooker. The incident involved four fire engines and was put out by 4.30am.
