Deborah Morgan, a disabled woman, has been unable to move into a specially adapted ground-floor flat for three years, describing the situation as "three years of hell and nothing being done." The flat has severe issues such as no heating, water, an infestation of worms, and broken windows, which have severely impacted her health and quality of life. She refers to the flat as a "ghost home" because it's fully furnished yet unlivable, leaving her in a state of fear about her future.
In an emotional plea, Morgan states, "I'm frightened of the future. Truthfully with my health, this has been a huge impact on my well-being, and at some stages, I felt suicidal due to the ongoing neglect. I never know what I’m going to find each time I visit it." This reflects how her living conditions have not only physically but emotionally exhausted her over the years.
