'Deliberate' blaze at derelict pub hit by second fire in two months
Briefly

A derelict pub in Dagenham has caught fire for the second time in two months, with the London Fire Brigade treating the latest blaze as 'deliberate'. The Ship & Anchor in Wood Lane went up in smoke again yesterday (April 21) after it caught fire in the middle of the night on March 20 when the roof was destroyed.
An outbuilding adjoined to the pub was destroyed in what LFB are treating as a deliberately caused fire. Forty firefighters were called to the previous fire on March 20.
