A dad who was found dead inside a home in Surrey with his three boys has been named for the first time as Piotr Swiderski, discovered on August 31.
DCI Gareth Hicks stated, 'This is a truly tragic incident and a thorough investigation is underway to establish exactly what happened.' He acknowledged the local community's support.
Surrey Police have made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to 'previous contact' with the family in August 2023.
Police believe the deaths of the father and his three children to be an isolated incident with no third-party involvement.
