Cyclist seriously injured in hospital following crash involving 'waste'
Briefly

Police have launched an investigation after a cyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Lincolns Lane, Pilgrims Hatch, with emergency services called shortly after 5pm.
A suspect description has been released: the man is bald, in his 40s to 50s, was wearing a high-visibility jacket, and was riding a green and black Boardman racing bike.
Although the investigation is still in its early stages, officers believe that waste situated in the road may have contributed to the incident, and they're seeking witnesses.
Authorities urge anyone who recognizes the man's description or has information about the crash, including its circumstances, to contact Essex Police by calling 101.
