Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a detached house on Manor Way in South Croydon. Half of a single-storey garage and utility room was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries. The Brigade was called at 0907 and the fire was under control by 1114. Fire crews from Woodside, Addington and Croydon fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
