College forced into lockdown after knife attack outside campus

The Capital City College Group, which runs the college, said that the incident happened outside of its Holloway Road centre. A spokesperson said: The site was briefly locked down as a precaution to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Emergency services found a man with a hand injury and he was treated at the scene, although his injury is not thought to be serious. There have been no arrests, and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
