Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat above a shop on Sidcup Road Parade in Eltham. The whole of a flat on the first floor of the building was destroyed by the fire.
The fire was under control just before 4.20pm. The cause of the blaze is accidental and is undetermined, indicating the need for further investigation.
