Boy, 17, charged after he was found carrying a knife and drugs at train station

A teenage boy from Newham was stopped by British Transport Police officers at West Ham underground station, where he was found carrying a knife and drugs.
The boy was charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a controlled drug after being found acting suspiciously by officers at around 4.25pm.
He was remanded in custody to appear at North London Magistrates Court following the incident at the station.
