P olice have closed part of the Blackwall Tunnel due to the welfare of a man who climbed on top of it causing significant traffic disruption.Metropolitan Police are at the two tunnels that run underneath the River Thames, in east London.There is no danger to the public.Motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible with the Blackwell Tunnel shut in both directions around 1pm on Thursday.
