Big changes to London Overground names and colours set to be rolled out
Briefly

London's Transport Commissioner, Andy Lord, stated: "This is an exciting step as millions of customer journeys on the London Overground will be transformed by making it simpler to navigate." He emphasized that the introduction of individual line colours and names will help improve customer confidence, similar to the system already in place for the Tube.
The comprehensive update will include about 6,000 new wayfinding signs, Tube maps, digital displays, and revamped audiovisual announcements across the London Overground network, aiming to enhance navigability and customer confidence.
The London Overground will see new names and colours for each of its lines for the first time, which incorporates Lioness (yellow), Mildmay (blue), and Windrush (red), giving passengers a clearer identity for each route.
