Around 100 firefighters are tackling a huge blaze at a takeaway restaurant with flats above in Holloway, which broke out around 3.45am on November 28.
Station Commander Mike Watts warned of heavy smoke and advised local residents to keep their windows and doors closed as fire crews worked to bring the situation under control.
London Ambulance Service reported treating five individuals, aged between 40 and 80, who were taken to the hospital following the emergency response.
There are significant road closures in place near the fire location, with officials urging residents to avoid the area, particularly during rush hour.
