Police have confirmed that there have been no arrests related to the murder of 14-year-old Kelyan Bokassa, who was fatally stabbed on a bus in Woolwich, raising concerns about gang violence.
Kelyan's mother revealed that he had been 'targeted' and 'groomed' by gangs from a young age, having faced a difficult childhood and spent time living on the streets.
Despite his challenges, Kelyan was an aspiring rapper, known by the moniker 'Grippa,' and his recent music video included troubling lyrics that referenced violence, contributing to the ongoing concern over gang culture.
His murder marks the second stabbing incident in Woolwich in 24 hours, leading to fears of increasing gang-related violence and conflicts in the area.
