Police recovered 24 stolen mobile phones believed to be snatched in the City or West End, with a suspect being arrested outside the Bank of England.
Sonny Stringer, charged with nine thefts and other crimes, has been remanded in custody following the incident involving stolen phones in London.
Two suspects riding electric motorcycles were identified as phone snatchers, with one arrest made after CCTV operators alerted officers.
City Police urge anyone who had their phone snatched on March 26 in central London to contact them.
