It is sheer luck that this is not a murder investigation. Removing guns from our streets is a priority for the Met. The injuries caused by guns are often devastating and the effects of being a victim of gun crime linger far beyond the healing of wounds.
This was an attempt on the life of a 15-year-old boy and I know that there are people who can name the person responsible. Please help us remove guns from your streets by sharing what you know.
