We were called at 7.19am on Thursday 8 February to reports of a person in the water at Victoria Parade, SE10. We sent resources to the scene...Very sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body of a male was recovered from the water in Victoria Parade SE10. Officers are working to confirm the male's identity and inform next of kin. The death is being treated as unexpected pending further enquiries.
