Aldi was fined 64,000 after mouse droppings and fur were found in a partially unwrapped chocolate Easter Egg, highlighting significant food safety concerns.
Councillor Khevyn Limbajee stated, 'We take food safety extremely seriously...the fact that Aldi has...expanded in the borough makes this lack of oversight all the more appalling.'
