The incident, which occurred around 4pm on November 9 in Grove Place, resulted in a child being struck by a falling tree branch and subsequently dying from their injuries shortly after treatment.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service confirmed that they were dispatched at 3:51pm and sent multiple resources, including advanced paramedics and London's Air Ambulance, to the scene for assistance.
Metropolitan Police remarked that the incident is currently not viewed as suspicious, yet they are conducting inquiries to clarify the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
Authorities are committed to ensuring that all family members of the child have been informed, and a report regarding the incident will be prepared for the coroner.
