This is horrendous. It's a nice area, it's a very family-oriented area. There's colleges and schools. It's shocking. I have no idea what's happening.
I'm absolutely shocked. It could have been anybody. It is not something I would expect from the area. When I first found out I was in so much shock.
They put him in an ambulance and drove him up to where the helicopter could land. It's cordoned off and traffic is being diverted.
We were called at 11.29am today (30 January) to reports of a stabbing on Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton. We sent resources to the scene.
