"Firefighters tackled a fire on Eastern Avenue, IG2 on Saturday. The fire also caused 69 homes in the surrounding area to go without power until later on in the evening."
"A low voltage cable had developed a fault which interrupted power supplies to 69 properties. Fifty-six properties were restored by 6.50pm, with the remaining 13 being restored by 9.45pm. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Customer care staff also helped keep people updated."
