A fire in a Morrisons car park in Kingsbury led to the evacuation of approximately 100 people on February 6. The London Fire Brigade responded swiftly, arriving shortly after the first alert at 7.07am and managing to control the blaze by 8.48am. Three cars were involved in the incident, with one completely destroyed and the others partly damaged. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. Firefighters responded promptly, with six fire engines and around 30 firefighters controlling the blaze within an hour and a half of the first call.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental, stemming from an engine fault in one of the vehicles involved in the incident.
