It looked as if the nerves may have gotten the better of Liverpool in the early stages, with Burnley the more promising side in the opening half-an-hour. However, despite an underwhelming start, Liverpool did eventually grab the lead with their first real attempt on goal, Jota converting Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross - the 25-year-old becoming the defender with the most assists in Premier League history in the process.
