Premier League referee David Coote is currently suspended pending an investigation into a video that allegedly shows him using offensive language about Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.
Professional Game Match Officials Ltd (PGMOL) stated there would be 'no further comment' until the investigation is complete, as the video has not yet been verified.
The video depicts Coote allegedly expressing disdain for Liverpool and Klopp in a foul-mouthed tirade that, if proven true, could end his refereeing career.
Coote has officiated numerous Liverpool matches, including a recent win against Aston Villa, and appeared to share personal grievances against Klopp during the conversation.
