MK Dons have parted ways with head coach Scott Lindsey following a disappointing run of form, highlighted by recent defeats, including a 1-0 loss to Colchester United. Lindsey, who had taken over in September, led MK to a promising start but witnessed a dramatic decline, resulting in just nine points from 48 possible. Despite his efforts and a decent start, the team struggled, leaving them 16 points off promotion. The club thanked Lindsey for his contributions in a statement, emphasizing the team's future directions following this challenging decision.
It's really clear to me the players are really fighting and don't deserve that today. We are really hurting in there at the moment because of the run of form, in terms of results.
Everyone at MK Dons would like to sincerely thank Scott for his efforts during his time in Milton Keynes and wish him every success in the future.
