Briefly

Lucy Hargreaves was shot dead in her home on 3 August 2005. Three men entered her house, fatally injuring her and setting her property ablaze, forcing her partner and toddler to flee. The family is appealing for information and has released a new photograph of Lucy. Despite 21 arrests in the investigation, no convictions have been made. Merseyside Police launched a comprehensive review two years ago. The head of the review unit emphasized the brutality of the crime and the impact on Lucy's family, highlighting the urgency for justice.
Lucy Hargreaves was asleep on her sofa when three men burst into her Walton home on 3 August 2005. They fatally injured her, then set fire to the Lambourne Road property.
Following Ms Hargreaves' death, a number of people were contacted by males using a phone that was stolen, along with a vehicle used in Lucy's murder.
After carrying out the killing, the offenders ignored the cries of a toddler upstairs as they poured petrol around the house and set fire to it.
Merseyside Police are as determined as ever to get justice for Ms Hargreaves. Her death robbed her family of a loving mother and daughter.
