Biden is the first sitting US president to post on the decentralized networking protocol ActivityPub via Meta's integration.
Threads rolled out its beta ActivityPub integration for users in the US, Canada, and Japan.
Biden's posts are visible on Threads with likes coming in, although replies and some interactions may not be fully functional.
Currently, only Biden's official POTUS account has activated Threads' fediverse integration, while accounts of Dr. Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are not visible.
