According to the latest Gallup poll, nearly 8 in 10 Democrats report heightened enthusiasm for voting, marking a significant upward shift in engagement since March.
The surge in election enthusiasm has seen 69% of U.S. adults declaring increased eagerness to participate in the upcoming elections, a notable rise from 54% in March.
Democratic voters showed remarkable growth in enthusiasm, from 55% in March to 78% by August, compared to Republicans who increased from 59% to 64%.
With growing enthusiasm and attention to the elections, voter participation this year is expected to exceed 2020 levels, which was the highest in over a century.
