The number one thing voters always bring up to us is Biden's age and concern about it. And the number one thing I heard from people a year ago was, are you kidding me? It's the same two people running again? Korecki said.
If you want to talk about the fix being in, you can look at party leaders. They ignored the concerns of voters. There were lots and lots of polls showing all along that they wanted a different candidate to run, and those concerns were ignored. The order of the primary was changed by the DNC. South Carolina was put first. It all went to benefit Biden. The field was cleared.
This notion that the elites are against him or the fix is in, I have heard so much pushback to that here on the ground, which is, no, the fix was in before. The elites circled the wagons for Biden.
To say that it's the elites against Biden, I think it's the other way around and it has been for quite a while, Korecki said.
