Stewart concluded that Trump's supporters are backing someone who doesn't exist. "It's as though they've created a fictional character," he said. "A bizarro Trump, whose accomplishments and character bear little resemblance to the self-aggrandizing, perpetual victim guy he continues to tell you explicitly that he is."
Stewart made short work of that as he played clips of Trump's anti-worker boasts, including the former president admitting he wouldn't pay overtime. "You're admitting to fucking people over who worked for you," Stewart said. "I mean, it's funny. But it undercuts the 'working man's friend' thing."
