He remarked on the killing of Haniyeh, saying, "We tried not to respond but unfortunately that elusive week never came and we believe Iran had been lied to."
Pezeshkian condemned violence, asserting, "There is no winner in warfare, everyone loses... every day Israel is committing more atrocities and killing more and more people."
