On a recent episode of Fox Business, Rep. Beth Van Duyne criticized Democrats, particularly Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, for engaging with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 gang member. Via her remarks, Van Duyne emphasized that Garcia's deportation could have been an error and likened his situation to that of an American hostage held by Hamas. Other Democratic figures, including Arizona Congresswoman Yasmin Ansari, have also voiced their opinions on the matter, asserting that civil rights are being jeopardized. The discourse highlights the contentious political environment surrounding immigration and national security issues.
