Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn blames mainstream media for party's cratering support
Briefly

Rep. Jim Clyburn has attributed the Democratic Party's declining national support to mainstream media's failure to accurately portray its message. In an MSNBC interview, he expressed confidence in the party's message but criticized the press, claiming it sometimes prioritizes sensationalism over substance. Clyburn proposed holding town halls to communicate directly with voters and emphasized the coherent nature of the party's message. He affirmed his appreciation for media that maintains journalistic integrity, contrasting it with outlets he believes exploit sensational narratives.
I think the message coming from the Democratic Party is a good message. The problem we've got is that we have to depend upon the media to deliver it.
If we have The Washington Post, for instance, caving to this wannabe dictator... and not really give a fair hearing or reporting to what we're doing, that's what's killing us.
It's going to be very coherent. A little bit alarming, but something people will understand if they hear it.
That's why I like coming on your shows on the weekends; it’s one of the few platforms offering substance over spin.
