Colorado has decided to ban Denver Post columnist Sean Keeler from asking questions of Coach Deion Sanders and the football program due to sustained personal attacks.
According to CU Athletic Department, Keeler's negative references to Sanders, including calling him 'Deposition Deion' and a 'false prophet', prompted the decision to enforce the ban.
During a recent press conference, Coach Sanders confronted Keeler over his critical reporting, expressing concern for his well-being and suggesting he was 'always being on the attack'.
The CU Athletic Department clarified that although Keeler is banned from questioning the football team, he remains a credentialed media member and can attend activities.
