State court rules and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure demand that any lawsuit be backed by allegations of fact and a legal theory that state a claim on which relief can be granted. ...If it is not, there is the potential for a lawyer to be sued for malpractice.
It is not uncommon for senior lawyers to be too busy, too harried or too disinterested in junior lawyers' development to give adequate feedback, and not only negative feedback, either.
