Mass. State Police report fake account impersonating trooper
""Sarita" on Instagram appears to be the account the agency reported, showing a blonde woman wearing a Massachusetts State Police uniform, complete with a badge and a gun. In the pictures posted since Dec. 29, her name tags reads "Sara," "St. Pay," and "St. May." In one, the letters are unintelligible. The account has more than 100,000 followers as of Sunday evening. MSP declined to confirm the account."
"Images on the account show the fake trooper, sometimes in suggestive poses, in front of the Massachusetts State House, at a Celtics game, in a cruiser, and at the beach being held up by another trooper. In another, the artificially generated model has a leg up on a car hood with the Boston skyline in another. The account links to a free OnlyFans account, where the artificially generated model posts adult content."
Massachusetts State Police warned residents not to trust a social media account that uses artificially generated images to portray a female state trooper. The account "Sarita" shows a blonde woman in MSP uniform with badges and a gun, and name tags reading "Sara," "St. Pay," and "St. May," with some letters unintelligible. The account gained over 100,000 followers and posts images in various locations, sometimes in suggestive poses, and links to a free OnlyFans where adult content appears. The same model also impersonates a Santa Monica police officer using similar images and the same OnlyFans link. The agency reported the account to the platform and urged reliance on official MSP channels.
