Jury Duty, but Make It Fun
Briefly

Jury Games is an immersive theater experience allowing participants to act as jurors in a mock trial involving arson and murder. Paid attendees engage with evidence, video testimony, and discussions to reach a consensus. This innovative approach repackages the often-avoided civic duty of jury service into an entertaining event. Rather than being a formal trial, these jurors are made up of friends and couples who enjoy the thrill of participating in a true-crime scenario, reflecting society's fascination with such narratives.
In a small, brightly lit conference room tucked in the corner of a London office building, a dozen people are hunched over computers, printouts and large Ziploc bags of evidence.
This is Jury Games, one of several immersive theater productions that are taking jury service and repackaging it as entertainment.
