Orville Farrell was employed as a custody client servicing associate with State Street. He was convicted of deception and of impersonating a garda before Waterford Circuit Court. Farrell was sentenced to more than two years in prison and commenced that sentence in January 2024. State Street terminated Farrell's employment following the sentencing. State Street stated that it learned of Farrell's incarceration from newspaper articles. Farrell has initiated a legal action alleging unfair dismissal against the employer.
