Long Beach State aims to turn office building into student housing
Briefly

Cal State Long Beach has proposed a transformation of the Park Tower office building into student housing, aiming to convert it into 149 apartments for 593 students.
Plans for the adaptive re-use project include maintaining the building's glass facade while restructuring the interior into suites for one to six students.
The project, designed by Studio One Eleven, will incorporate modern amenities such as a gym, kitchen, and laundry area, along with outdoor fitness spaces.
This conversion, an essential part of CSULB's broader housing master plan, is projected to start construction in early 2025 and conclude by early 2026.
