"Roppongi has always been about more than food. It's about energy, creativity, and connection - a place where great design, great cuisine, and great company come together."
"The redesigned Roppongi is a collaborative effort with Stephanie Parisi, known for her work on notable projects such as Hotel Parisi and Prime Ten. The new interior features a dramatic gold-brushed wall, custom furniture, and the original fireplace, reimagined with Buddha statues as a stunning focal point."
Roppongi Restaurant & Lounge has reopened at 875 Prospect St. in La Jolla after years of anticipation. Originally established in 1998 by restaurateur Sami Ladeki, the restaurant became a cornerstone of La Jolla's dining scene. The redesigned space features a dramatic gold-brushed wall, custom furniture, and an reimagined fireplace with Buddha statues as a focal point. Artistic ceiling sculptures by Milan-based artist Mirei Monticello and local artwork enhance the ambiance. The redesign was a collaborative effort with designer Stephanie Parisi. An inviting year-round outdoor patio with heaters and comfortable seating complements the dining experience. Executive Chef Alfie Szeprethy guides the menu, blending returning signature dishes with innovative new offerings inspired by global flavors and coastal influences.
