Check your fridge: Carrots from Bakersfield farm sicken dozens across U.S.

One senior in Los Angeles County has died amid a national recall of carrots contaminated with E. coli, with 39 people sickened across the U.S.

The contaminated carrots, grown by Grimmway Farms, were on shelves from mid-August to late October, prompting a strong advisory to check and discard any affected products.
