Tyler Glasnow Spoke to Roki Sasaki On the Phone in Attempt to Recruit him to Dodgers

I talked to him on the phone ... it was a pretty quick phone call. I said to him a thing and was like, I haven't played for the other two organizations. But if one of your main goals is to become the best pitcher you can possibly be, like development wise and everything, scouting report wise to like all that stuff, I said, 'This is the place for you.'

It's a dream come true. I think the first day is gonna be amazing, even in spring training, putting on the uniform. And then first day at Dodger Stadium is gonna be incredible. I can't wait for Opening Day.

I haven't played for the other two organizations, but if one of your main goals is to become the best pitcher you can possibly be, this is the place for you.

It kind of feels surreal in a way, like having all those daydreams as a kid to go play in Dodger Stadium, and then it happened.
