Roki Sasaki update brings clarity to posting plan
Briefly

Following more than a year of speculation, the Chiba Lotte Marines have officially announced they will post Roki Sasaki for MLB free agency this offseason, allowing teams to negotiate with the talented right-hander.
Sasaki is expected to be posted at MLB's winter meetings, opening a 45-day window for teams to persuade him to join them as the international signing period begins.
Despite the Los Angeles Dodgers being seen as the favorite for Sasaki's services, his agent emphasized that he would consider all teams equally and denied any prior agreements.
With just 23 years of age and under six years in NPB, Sasaki's posting allows all 30 MLB teams to engage in a potentially lucrative bidding war.
