Hyeseong Kim Worked With Dodgers Hitting Coaches To Change 'Everything' With Swing
Briefly

Hyeseong Kim, a professional baseball player for eight seasons with the Kiwoom Heroes in the KBO League, has signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers for a three-year, $12.5 million contract. The Dodgers aim to enhance Kim's offensive skills, focusing on strength and swing adjustments. Kim has acknowledged significant changes in his swing and is eager to improve further. With a promising start in the Minor Leagues, where he recorded a .470 slugging percentage, Kim aims to succeed in Major League Baseball after being called up to replace an injured teammate.
"Everything" about the swing is different, Kim explained, adding, "I would say that there's still a lot of space where I have to get better. But compared to Day 1 that I came here, it's been better. I still have to go work on it."
Kim has reworked his swing from the ground up, and slowly began to see the changes implemented with Dodgers hitting coaches paying off, according to Fabian Ardaya of the Athletic.
